Setmoreas a Calendly alternative

A candidate for a shared appointment book with several staff members.

When Setmore is worth considering

Setmore is a candidate for a small business organizing staff appointments. The free allowance supports up to four users, but that is only one part of deciding whether Free fits.

Two-way calendar sync is a paid feature. If staff also maintain separate work calendars, make that an early test instead of assuming that a shared appointment book will automatically prevent every conflict.

The tradeoff

The free plan supports up to four users, but two-way calendar sync requires Pro.

What to test before switching

Use a real booking scenario rather than a feature checklist alone. For Setmore, start with these checks:

  1. Add the staff members who need their own availability.
  2. Check conflicts with external calendars on the plan you intend to use.
  3. Test a customer booking and confirm which staff and customer reminders arrive.

Then test cancellations and rescheduling from a separate guest account. Confirm the old appointment is handled correctly and that the guest receives clear instructions.

When to keep Calendly

If your existing setup already meets these requirements, weigh the improvement against the work of replacing booking links, embeds, and integrations. Keep a plan for managing appointments created in the old system.
