Lead qualification and routing

OnceHubas a Calendly alternative

Consider it when assigning the right person is as important as finding a time.

Revised September 16, 2026 · Documentation-based comparison

When OnceHub is worth considering

OnceHub is worth investigating when deciding who receives a booking is part of the sales workflow. Define the qualification and assignment rules before evaluating the product.

Its plans serve different levels of workflow complexity. In particular, the Schedule entry price does not include everything in Route. Compare the plan that actually implements your distribution requirements.

The tradeoff

Round-robin distribution requires Route; the cheaper Schedule plan is not equivalent.

What to test before switching

Use a real booking scenario rather than a feature checklist alone. For OnceHub, start with these checks:

  1. Write an assignment rule and test it with realistic form responses.
  2. Check how an existing contact is handled by the CRM workflow.
  3. Test host unavailability and reassignment before relying on the routing setup.

Then test cancellations and rescheduling from a separate guest account. Confirm the old appointment is handled correctly and that the guest receives clear instructions.

When to keep Calendly

If your existing setup already meets these requirements, weigh the improvement against the work of replacing booking links, embeds, and integrations. Keep a plan for managing appointments created in the old system.
